Awesome. The wheels should be here early next week then I'll go down and get some tires. Thanks for putting my mind at rest guys, cant waitntonget these on the car.

Also, do I need to buy new lights or do the stockers work? If I need new ones, what kind should I get?

"Lights" ??

Skidracer87 04-26-2013 08:13 AM

Hello, I have bought varrstoen es222 rims 9.5/10.5 +12 all around. Before I did the research. I'm pretty sure I know the answer. But can I go 265 on the front I'm going 305 on the rear eventually but for right now I have 285s on the way as well as 10mm spacers.

Sorry, stupid auto correct on my ipad. I meant "LUGS"

KaienZ34 04-26-2013 11:00 AM

Most stock lugs won't work on aftermarket wheels and vise versa.

dc3843 04-26-2013 11:58 AM

OKay, so who has a line on a good set of lugs for these wheels? What do you guys recommend?

Lugs are basically all the same. Its all about name brand and color. I use a set of the BLOX aluminum lugs since they were cheap, lightweight, and purple! I'm not one to spend $200 on lugs lol.

Just want to bounce this off the group, it is nothing outrageous, but it;s a new area for me. Have read lots of the tires threads all for interesting and confusing at the same time, but I think I have gotten it.

current setup
Sports Package, with stock Rays, nimso sway bars
no changes planned for now..

The car is DD and I autocross about 3-4 times a year, no track days yet.

Thinking of the following setup

Michelin PSS
or
RE-11

265/35/19 up front and 305/30/19 rear

Also no spacers, any recommendations on spacers

Thanks for reviewing and remember to drive it hard, then harder

Skidracer87 04-26-2013 05:07 PM

Anybody? Will 265 fit?

Should be fine

Skidracer87 04-26-2013 09:07 PM

Thank you:)

dc3843 04-26-2013 10:43 PM

Thanks for all the advice guys. I ordered a set of lug nuts from Kyle over at IPP. Now to find some tires. :)

Skidracer87 04-26-2013 11:07 PM

I ordered 255/35 for the fronts and I'm goona try running -2 camber and hope I don't rub. I'm taking it to a few track days so I'm worried but hope it works out. If the 255s fit ill try 265s with my 305s. Wish Ida gotten the +12 offset for the front with 5mm spacers, I'd be less worried.

wondering what it would take to make these fit? Front: 19x9.5 +13, Rear: 19x11 -0

A ton of it.

That is the size of the wheels I ordered. They are supposed to arrive this week. Ill try to remember to post something about them. Think I'm going to run 225/40 up front maybe 235/40 and going to try a 275/35 in the back at first.

won't that be really stretched?

anthony909 05-06-2013 10:54 PM

Yeah if I don't put the 10mm spacer up front it will be lol just going to play around with different tire sizes to see what looks best.

Cuz ill be running the same wheel sizes but +15 in the fron and +10 in the rear but wasn't planning on stretching. I'm not an expert but I don't think the spacer would really affect the stretch of the tire. Wouldn't that only be based on the wheel dimesions? The spacer affecting the offset

Ni55anPat 05-07-2013 12:32 AM

tested fitted some spacers today.

19x9 with +2 front offset with 245/35 tires, will probably have to roll front fenders.....camber my guess is -2.7

Will probably go with a 235/35 and test fit a 15mm to make it -3.

245/35 up front
285-305 in the rear

Depends on drop....but you won't need tons of camber running the front......rear you'll be able to get it back to around -2.5-2.7 my guess.

Guy has some 20" Vossen CV3s off his Accord for sale

Vossen CV3
20x9 275/35/ZR20
20x10.5 275/30/ZR20

Will that setup fit my 370z with sports package brakes? The tire setup is a little different than most Z's i see. I'm a noob at this, so thanks for the help.

I think 275 upfront will be wide, it can be done but you will probably have to have some camber possibly pulled fenders

Ni55anPat 05-07-2013 07:51 AM

What's the offsets? Lol

Ummm.......bigger question, Why is the front tire a 275/35 and the rears a 275/30? How in the hell did he make that fit on an Accord? Offsets have to be like 50ish.

anthony909 05-07-2013 07:40 PM

Anybody know if you have to install extended studs with a 10mm spacer or will the stock studs be sufficient?

Need to be extended. You can get away with 5mm. Some say 7mm but I had 5's and I was still iffy about it. I extended all 20 lol.

Darn how long did you get the studs?

chrischhorn 05-08-2013 04:38 AM

20mm longer all the way around. I don't even use the spacers anymore lol. Deep open ended lug nuts for the win lol

Ni55anPat 05-08-2013 06:53 AM

I'm running 10mm on OEM studs. Plenty if threads to run it.

Team Boost 05-26-2013 07:03 PM

alright guys i just purchased the varrstoen 2.2.2 in 19x9.5 +22 265/30R19 and 19x11 +0 295/30R19 i found out after purchasing them that i need spacers in the front so will i be ok with 2.5mm spacers or should i go higher to clear the brakes, also will i rub once i lower the car about an inch or so and will it poke too much in the front? Thanks in advance

122554 05-26-2013 07:42 PM

I'm running 275/35/19 and 305/30/19's No problem

Infidel 05-30-2013 08:51 AM

I have the Sport Package stock Rays...What's the widest tires I can fit front and back without any camber adjustments? What size, if any, spacers will I need?

KaienZ34 05-30-2013 10:34 AM

I've seen 265/35/19 up front on 305/30/19 out back on stock rays.
