EDIT:
I'm really not gonna argue. You guys like what you like. It's different than what I like, and I think its woefully antiquated, but they're your cars.

I am quite happy with mine.

You have a nice looking Z. I just don't like my cars that low. I like them close to stock height to keep them from scrapping. My Nismo is stock height, and I've scrapped the chit out of it. I'm on my 3rd chin spoiler. One on the street and 2 at the track. :icon14: And I'm ready for my 4th.

Just an update: Rolled my fenders and got an alignment done, no rubbing so far!

I'm on -2 camber all around.

19x9 +12 fronts on 275/35/19 RS3. Rears are 19x11 +18 on 305/30/19 RS3s.

Happy so far, as I thought I had to go -2.5 or so.

Yahoo, new rims are at the port in California. 19x10 +29 front and 19x11.5 +30 rear.

Whats antiquated? fitting the right tire size or not pushing the limits of fitments?

Do you not watch racing of any form? Every race car in the current era uses properly sized tires and wheels, by the virtue of regulations, and by actual handling physics. Hell even look at Formula drift where the style you follow was essentially born. No one in the pro series pulling off 100mph drifts use stretched tires and high degrees of camber to fit wheels.

There are zero cars in the modern era from factory or in racing that follows your standpoint. I don't see why you have to belittle it just because you don't like it or find it boring.

Your car looks mean and aggressive, has nothing to do with likes. But you even admitted it was a bit aggressive and not for everyone. You said this several times actually.

Do you think by typing more you're accomplishing something?

You don't need to justify your style to me, i'm not that special. I just like my wheel fitment a certain way and don't like how others do it. It's not the end of the world.

I would happily tell Rusty i think his wheels look stupid to his face, buy him a beer to celebrate that we both drive Z's, and smile because the world will keep spinning. Your typing more words really won't affect any of that.

Seriously dude. It's cool. Move on.

I did the super low thing with a 240 as a daily. It scraped like nuts.

Fortunately, I daily drive a bone stock IS300 and leave the Z in the garage until I need to drive to a parking lot and look cool in front of the coffee shop.

The scraping is why I don't have a lip yet. I'm just gonna factor in the cost of a cup-kit system into the price of the carbon signal lip kit and consider it a $3000 purchase that i'm not gonna make anytime soon.

You're lucky, you beat SEMA. There will be people around to ship your stuff!

I'm glad it worked out. As I tell people, the Z can fit virtually anything, its quite impressive once you attempt it and see whats possible.

Probably not, but the hate bashing and attitude borders on uncivil. How you assume that would go unchecked is beyond me. Plus I'm just argumentative as hell. So it seems, people hate that more than blatant bashfulness

I get your standpoint, so i will move on. :tiphat:

They will be here Wednesday morning. I can't wait to see what they look like in person.
