I am quite happy with mine.
You have a nice looking Z. I just don't like my cars that low. I like them close to stock height to keep them from scrapping. My Nismo is stock height, and I've scrapped the chit out of it. I'm on my 3rd chin spoiler. One on the street and 2 at the track. And I'm ready for my 4th.

I did the super low thing with a 240 as a daily. It scraped like nuts.

Fortunately, I daily drive a bone stock IS300 and leave the Z in the garage until I need to drive to a parking lot and look cool in front of the coffee shop.

The scraping is why I don't have a lip yet. I'm just gonna factor in the cost of a cup-kit system into the price of the carbon signal lip kit and consider it a $3000 purchase that i'm not gonna make anytime soon.

Whats antiquated? fitting the right tire size or not pushing the limits of fitments?

Do you not watch racing of any form? Every race car in the current era uses properly sized tires and wheels, by the virtue of regulations, and by actual handling physics. Hell even look at Formula drift where the style you follow was essentially born. No one in the pro series pulling off 100mph drifts use stretched tires and high degrees of camber to fit wheels.

There are zero cars in the modern era from factory or in racing that follows your standpoint. I don't see why you have to belittle it just because you don't like it or find it boring.

Your car looks mean and aggressive, has nothing to do with likes. But you even admitted it was a bit aggressive and not for everyone. You said this several times actually.

They will be here Wednesday morning. I can't wait to see what they look like in person.

Default Thoughts?

Hey guys! Looking for a winter wheel/blizzak,x-ice setup for winter and came across these rims on CL. I'm terrible when it comes to calculating offsets and fitment, so just wondering about your thoughts on these. The spoke pattern appears that it should clear the BBK, so I'm basically just wondering on how these offsets would look/perform during the winter. Looking to do square setup for rotating purposes. Asking price is $500 and are new in box.

Rims:
Verde Empire
5x114.3
18x9.5
ET 20

They'll fit easily on the rear & poke/rub on the front,,,,unless you lean them in & run small diameter tires.

Still waiting...... If I wouldn't have been up at 7:30 this morning they would already have been here and just left me a note. What a pain. Watched driveway will never get new wheels delivered I guess.
