I'd rather go with 40 so the front tires don't stick out more than the rear. I don't want to rub on the control arm either. Anyone know for sure?

they will work fine.. because you can add a spacer... as mentioned in the other thread where you asked.

Yeah, I don't want to use a spacer if I don't have to so I am going to go with a 10" wheel with a 30mm offset. I think I will have room for that without a spacer. If not then I will be forced to use one because I am out of options. Glad I went out and measured though. I have less than an inch, and when I plugged my numbers into a wheel offset and tire calc. I will be adding .6" towards the inside. The 9.5"38mm was 1" and 40mm 1.1" so those def wouldn't fit.

Wilbe 04-06-2012 02:04 PM

I know next to nothing about tires.... I just purchased stock rays (19x9 front) (19x10 rear). I was wondering how wide I could go in the back, like maybe a 305?? But I don't want the tire to stick out or rub. There the limited 2010 wheels, if it matters at all....

GetYourWheels 04-06-2012 04:02 PM

Wilbe,

Every tire manufacture will have approved or tested widths that will work on your wheels(posted on their website).

285 or 295 should be fine.

Thank you :tiphat:

papishampoo16 04-14-2012 11:53 AM

i hate having to upgrade wheels because when it comes to wheels all those numbers make my head spin

looking at this wheels

- Staggered Full Set -
(2) 20x8.5 Roderick RW2 Cinque Silver/Machined (Chrome Stainless Steel Lip)
(2) 20x10 Roderick RW2 Cinque Silver/Machined (Chrome Stainless Steel Lip) Wheels

I want a 20 in wheels on an 09 nismo. I love the stock look and i want to come close to that. What size offset do i need for the front and rear? Also what size tires will fit these wheels with no rubbing. Any help greatly appreciated

papishampoo16 04-15-2012 11:56 AM

Get 20 for both front and rear, then get spacers for the rear.

papishampoo16 04-15-2012 12:57 PM

Probably a 10mm if you're not wanting it too aggressive.

papishampoo16 04-15-2012 03:04 PM

thanks alot... any idea on tire size?

Maxi 04-16-2012 12:30 AM

Varrstoen 3.3.2 +22 front +22 rear (or +12 rear)

Will it fit without spacers? Akebono brakes..

Thanks!

If I put 15mm spacers in the front, 20mm spacers in the rear, with H&R springs on the base model 18" wheels.. will I need to fender tuck??

No.

And Maxi I don't think those will clear the front brakes. You'll need a little spacer up front

Flushnismo 04-18-2012 09:25 AM

Okay guys I need some help. I'm usually the one answering questions but now I need a question answered lol right now I'm running a Falken452 275/35/19 10.5 +0 in the back. I'm looking at getting some continental extreme contact Dw but maybe in a 285/35/19.. how much wider would these run than the Falkens?

corbin09 04-18-2012 09:59 AM

Not much.. .how much room do you have in the rear right now?

I can throw a 5mm spacer on my setup now and still have a tiny bit of room.

TerribleONE 04-18-2012 10:22 AM

Alright spacer pros... wheels are 9.5 +22 / 10.5 +12... tires 265/35 305/30. What spacer could I get away with if any? Looking to sit, HELLA flush

25m fronts and 15mm rears, that should make it -3 all round and stick out more :)

No! -.- lol with those tire sizes it's already going to be pretty aggressive. Shoulda got 245/35 and 275/35 if you wanted to get spacers and go hellaflush. Lol

I know.. Not a fan of stretched tires though. Plus I am gonna need all the traction I can get.. Wondering if 5mm all around would work

LOL or you can go with 255/295. looks better for HELLA flush imo.

Yeah I was going to suggest a 5mm, maybe even a 10mm. You'll just have to try it out and see what works.

I'm going for stock camber for tire life and no rubbing, lowered on swift springs. This is what i have on order...19x9.5+20 & 19x10.5+0 and the tires are 265/35/19 & 305/30/19

a 305/30 on a 10.5 +0? How is this possible with no camber?

Yeah. I'm afraid so too.. Anyway thanks for answer.

Too bad that the dealers here in europe aren't too helpful or ready for testing different setups.

Still looking for wheels.. If anyone here is ready to help me or sell a set of wheels please contact me.

I gotta see this. I want get mine as wide as possible but the problem is my front offset is +12

KaienZ34 04-18-2012 03:14 PM

Ok looked into it and i'm total wrong disregard my posts. Sorry about that.

pL4tiNumfi5t 04-18-2012 08:35 PM

19x9.5+24 255/40/19
19x10.5 +15 285/35/19
Eventually lowered on swifts, any issues?

Thanks

it'll fit fine. the front should be about flush. the back may need 5-10mm to be flush but overall good fit.

pL4tiNumfi5t 04-22-2012 06:01 PM

After looking around a bit, 255/40/19 may actually be a bit too much sidewall for my tastes.

Any issues with this setup?:
19x9.5+24 265/35/19
19x10.5 +15 305/30/19
Eventually lowered on swifts.

Thanks

Just placed an order for a set of Work wheels, now the wait begins. I am looking to figure out what I should do for tire sizes.

19X9 +15
19X10.5 +5

I will be lowered on Swift springs. I am still trying to figure out this whole offset/tire size thing.

I would do a 255/35 or a 245/35 on the fronts and a 285/35 out back.

Ni55anPat 04-22-2012 09:49 PM

255-35. I don't see why u wouldn't go 305 in the rear

Wouldn't that be really close to rubbing?

redline727 04-23-2012 08:43 PM

Looking to get
19x9.5 20mm Front
19x11 18mm Rear
I am stock height and will prob stay that way for a while longer
How will that setup look and I actually just got new tires on my stock sport wheels under 4k ago, can I just use those tires? If not would someone recommend a different tire size? Thanks in advance

pilatus 04-24-2012 04:19 PM

Hi There,

Link to wheel photo attached below....

I love this set up. Photo states 20x9 and 20x10.5
I have eibach lowering springs ( not installed but will be ) Box says 1 inch drop.
What kind of spacing would i need for this set up?
Also what size of tire should I be looking for with these wheels?

Thank you...

Omikron 04-26-2012 12:20 PM

I am looking at;
19x9.5 32 front with probably 265 tire.
19x10.5 27 rear with probably 305 tire.

I think I will be about half an inch in at those offsets, maybe a bit less. I don't mind not being flush, but I don't want it to look the way it does stock either. I really don't want to run spacers.

Is my thinking correct on the amount of recess from the fender to the outer face of the wheel? Thanks.
