Thinking about these wheels.
1 Attachment(s)
I've been looking at these for awhile, so what do you guys think? I love them. Just want to get other Z owners opinions. 19X8 5-120 20HS.

hey man. I have been trying to figure out a type of mesh wheel to get for the 370z as well. its tough though, You might have an easier time since you have a base, and from what i read the sport package brakes cause a problem for most of the offsets that the mesh wheels come in. Its all confusing. Anyways i like those wheels. However, the Axis penta's are very similar, and around the same price, and they seem to be a better wheel. They manufacture oem wheels for porsches.
also the volk SF winning are similar, but are much more expensive obviously. If you have any luck with the right offsets for a mesh wheel let me know. BTW you need 5-114.3 for the bolt pattern. also don't go too narrow. |
 Run with 'em!

To be completely honest man, I have no clue when it comes to offsets. 19" in diameter and 8" width. Now 5-114.3 can you explain the offsets a little more in detail? |

eh... not a big fan.
it'll look okay but not great. |
Sweet thanks Jeff!

like them but 8" width? idk bout that at all

No prob. I understand the concept of offsets etc, but the whole brake clearance issue is confusing me.

Hey guys, hopefully I can shed some light. Real quick, Axis does not build for porsches, maybe they built a couple of wheels, but that is a lie whoever said that.
These TSW wheels are great quality, we sell them and all of TSW's recent stuff is really top notch. THe offsets are important, but also you have to take into consideration the design of a wheel. Most mesh wheels the face is flat so it tends to bring the face closer in meaning, little to no clearance for the brake caliper. These wheels shouldnt have too much of an issue fitting onto the 370z. If you want send us a message and will see what we can work out for you. These are good wheels, just obviously cannot compare them to a 3 piece forged or anything. |
One problem with TSW is the weight, I think they are 25+ lbs

I had no ill intent when i said that i thought Axis were better. I had read reviews of TSW's bending. I think it was from some guy who went through 2 sets of thruxtons. i'm sure you know more than i do about wheels. Anyways, could you recommend a mesh wheel that would fit on the 370z w.sport package which wouldn't require spacers and would be flush to the fenders. I really want something to replace the factory sport rims but i dont feel like dealing with spacers and i dont want anything thinner than what comes in the sport package which i think are 9" wide in front and 10" in the rear. Thanks! |
