Default Tire sizes for stock sport wheels?

I have decided on giving the Hankook Ventus V12s a shot this go around but haven't decided on sizing yet.

Should I retain the stock size or go bigger?

I was thinking possibly 275/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear as the widest I would go. There really isn't much in between the above sizes and stock sizes that would be any closer to stock tire diameter/sidewall height. Kinda feel like 275s are a little wide up front (though I've seen it done here with RE-11s), but Hankook doesn't offer the V12s in 265/35 as far as I can tell.

Thoughts?

I was going to go with that setup, my current debate is that setup or V12 in stock sizes.
Some will say the 305 will pinch a bit on a 10" wide wheel while others have done it with little issue.

I could run a 295/30 rear but then I'd be giving up too much in diameter, IMO. From what I've seen, 305s look fine on the stock rear.

I agree, from what I have seen the 305 looks good, and I agree: 295/30 is off to much in the diameter.

Anyone running this setup with the V12s?

The more I think about it, this car doesn't need that much tire.

I think I will, I keep saying I should just go with stock size on the V12 but then I keep say, well it works and looks good and is not that much more price wise.

On the sport wheels I have the Hankook tires

V12:
Front 255 35 19 26
Rear 295 30 19 26

OEM:
Front 245 40 19 26.8
Rear 275 35 19 26.5

The ride and handling is great although my rpms are a little bit higher but not bad. Using the speed calculator 65mph is actually 63.5 and 75mph is actually 73.28 per the OEM to V12 sizes respectively.

Do you even know what you are talking about? This thread is not about new wheels, it is about people putting new tires on stock wheels. You know, some people do drive their cars around and have to buy new tires for stock wheels.

It's freaking wheels, who the hell cares.

To the OP. Do you plan to autox or track the car? If so, 305 might actually be an overkill. I have 265/285 on the stock wheel, I have a tough time spinning the rears unless I really do something stupid. If you go for looks, doesnt matter
