Are these the perfect wheel specs for a 370Z?
 
Im looking to buy a set of wheels on the "my350z.com" forum and a lot of the sets for sale are:
front: 19x9.5 +22
rear: 19x10.5 +22

Would those specs look good on my 370Z? do we share the same wheel specs and clearance?

Your rears will be more tucked in than the fronts but it won't look bad.

Personally I would go with a 19x10.5 +12 rear depending on what look you what to go with. The +22 9.5 are perfect in the front. The rears would definitely sink in a little more than the fronts.

Just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here's a set of black TE37 on Chicane Yellow:

In my opinion, the perfect staggered setup (for forged wheels) is 19x9.5 +22 fronts, 19x10.5 +12 rears. The +12 rears definitely have more lip than the +22 face as well.

Like everyone has mentioned the front 19x9.5 will be perfect. For the rear a +12 offset would fill up the wheel wells better. I'm actually running the 19x10.5 +22 in the rear WITH a 20mm spacer. So you can imagine without it, it would probably be more tucked in than I'd like. Although I'd probably need to go with a smaller spacer if I want to run wider tires. Heres a pic for reference:

THe +22 will look pretty weak in all honesty, like someone else mentioned we do 9.5 +22 up front and 10.5 +12 and its a nice setup. Sometimes a +12 with an 11 inch in the rear looks real good, if you want it a little more aggressive.

tires also make a huge difference from one brand to the next under the "same sizes"

for instance:

Toyo 305 series tires are: 12.3" wide

While

Falken 305 series tires are: 11.3" wide

sooo... that means the falkens will have a more stretched look and the Toyo's will look more beefy.

Bullit, nailed it on the head their, and You should take your wheel specs into consideration with the tire sizes you plan to run, b/c some certain specs if too aggressive will limit your tire sizes to fit snug and correctly.

Juruki, shouldnt have an issue, but in all honesty its always tough to answer that question. It all comes down to how low you end up putting the car, and the tire sizes/brand you end up running. We dont see the issue much, but you shouldnt have too and if you do a little negative camber never hurt anyone :tup:;)

Just and FYI our rear fenders come pre rolled from the factory :tup:

Maybe he meant would he have to pull them? Bullitt is right though, shouldnt have to roll anything, but fitment shouldnt be an issue.

As long as you're running something less than a 305/35 in the rears you shouldn't need to pull. It also depends on what tire types, but generally speaking the rears cam handle lots of meat.

I just went outside and checked my fenders. NICE!!!
I hated rolling the fenders of my previous car cuz the paint cracked on some spots.

It's advisable if you're running wide tires or low stance. Even if it doesn't normally rub if you hit a large enough bump at full lock you could definitely bend the lip outwards and potentially have an even bigger problem.

In short answer... NO. I am slammed with 9.5 +15 on 265's and I only rub no damage yet...

Are you sure your slammed, cause man i had to cut up the fender line, mold it and roll the fender a little. Im just on my the sport wheels with 30mm spacers on the front.

since this thread popped back up I need a little more help plz :tup:

I ordered my wheels in these specs:
20x10 +19 Front
20x 11 +11 Rear

265/35/20 R and 295/30/20 R tires will look good and not rub?
or 265/35/20 + 305/30/20?

Any sugestions?

Go 305. you should be fine.
