I am, I was referring to the rears. I'm anticipating loss of traction from FI.

No they don't. 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 is preferred.

Is the only advantage to running 265/35/19s F vs. 275/30/19 F the fact that the 265s will give better speedo ratings?
If i'm looking for best performance for street/track use what is recommended? I'm on Swift springs and have 15x20mm spacers.

For me, yes. They match the circumference of the 305's perfectly. But yes, you can run wider.

Sorry to raise from the dead, but after a good bit of searching I am still a bit murky on two key questions:
1. What's the widest tire I can run on the rear sports while keeping the front tires stock width without royally screwing up the cornering balance (i.e., is 305 too wide even though it will fit?). 2. In keeping with above, I have 25 mm spacers on rear... again how wide is too wide (i.e., is 305 ok with 25 mm spacers?) DD, not track, so some extra push is ok relative to unexpected oversteer...

40mm difference is the magic number based on the responses to my thread. As for it fitting with 25mm spacers, I'd feel hesitant if you're stock with no extra camber

So 285 would work both in terms of ratio to fronts and also with spacers provided I have extra negative camber dialed in? I'm at -2.38* in the rear. If all that sounds about right, I think these Ecsta XS's may be mounted to the rear wheels soon -- super sticky tires! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Model=Ecsta+XS or these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....11V2&tab=Specs Slightly less grippy in dry but waaaay better in the wet... and cheaper by a few bucks. Hmmm.

DEpoint -- thanks! just ordered the RE-11's in 285/35
That appears to be the same ratio as on the Nismo, so should work. I have over 2* of extra negative camber in rear, so should fit ok (if not, guess these will be for sale... ) Anyway, thanks, and repped! Oh, and please chime in if I just made a big error in judgment here...
