Well I had discount tire call Bridgestone to give me an ETA and they are shooting for next tuesday. I had to wait almost 3 months for the wheels another week wont kill me.....or will it!?!
Alliance is shipping my BBK out sometime next week as well. My only new complaint is, my spare tire will not fit the new big rotors going on the car so my spare is just taking weight. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? I might have to go ahead with the JL thin 13" sub to fill in the blanks if ya know what I mean. I guess I should become a member of AAA incase I need a tow for now on. The bad part is no local shops that I know of around Housotn stock Bridgestone RE-11's so I can get towed but have to wait a week to get a tire in errrr.... The more performance the more complicated things get. Might need to pick up a 99 240sx for back up :) |
It is tough that no one carries the RE-11s, but I agree on the second vehicle (it helps).
I took my spare out last weekend and love it (and the tools), but left the black pieces to allow me to still use the area. Not sure what to do with the area 100% yet, but 90% of the weight is gone which was my goal. We will have to meet up once the wheels, tires and BBK are on so I can see them. |

He is currently waiting on tires, which has been going on for a few weeks now. I believe they are suppose to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.

They came in yesterday! But I could not get there by 6 to get them put on. I am going to leave work at 2:00 today to go get them thrown on. It took along time for the tire to come in, discount tire is blaming Bridgestone but there is no reason to sit around and play the blamming game, I am just glad they are in. All I have is my i-Phone, my daughter pulled my nikon DSLR off of the counter and broke it a year ago and I have not replaced it yet :( Dreamer do you have a camera? Already spent over 2k on the car this month so maybe I can afford one next month along with a go pro-HD :)
Next mods; mabe next month or wait today is the first so it is the next month :) ..ok next mods will be HKS Hipermax lll coilovers, spl camber adjustable parts and the good thing is when I order them I wont have to wait 1-3 months before I get them. 4.5k on wheels and tires, 4k on BBK and still nothing to show for :) Dreamer: I want to capture your fly by shot on video. It sounded sooo... purdy :) |

To make a long story short I had to over night an ssr valve stem from cali. $44 to over night a $5 part. Anywho they wont be on the car until tomarrow if the fedex dude gets here well before 6:00. Not a happy camper at the moment, but you win some and ya lose some; and today folks I lost. Im not even in the mood to go to the drift event tonight anymore.

Those are going to look gorgeous, their is something about the multi spoke look on the 370, the mesh and multi seem to really be working on these cars. Love the step lip by the way, I think step lips are always sexy.

You have the longest name I have seen to date. Nice :) I will have pics up tomarrow for sure but crappy ones. More Japan-want pics so I need to find someone in the H-Town area that has a nice camera for a photo shoot. Want to wait a week until I get the BBK on too.

Here are a few bad ones from my iphone. They are no longer on the car anymore they are off getting re-high polished with a protective clear coat on the lip. The face is getting painted with (Graphite Grey Metallic) but with more metallic and one shade darker, K51 paint code modified :) They will be back on the car by sat or sunday. Also I just got a 14.1 meg camera that should take some half @ss pics until I get a high end camera. Also my BBK has been shipped and hope to get it soon if not by friday I will get it monday. So many more pics to come, hope I picked out a good color for the wheels but only time will tell.

Very classy! I like em. What are the specs, width & offset and tire sizes etc...? I would have coated the spokes gold, but graphite should look sick as well. I just have a soft spot for pearl white and gold.

With my offset it prolly would not tuck. It barley will now.
Just got word that my wheels are ready to pick up so I will have pics tonight or tomarrow but this time they will be high res pics. :) also just went to fedex's website with my tracking number mike from blickline gave me and my bbk will be delivered sat morning! 140lb package, hope they don't really weigh this much! I had a high end clear coat put on the polished part of the lip to help them stay nice :) and I hope the color I picked out for the face of the wheel looks as sexy on the car as that color code looks on the platinium graphite 370. |
Are you going to put center caps on them or leave those nasty holes open?

I am going to put bannanas in there. Maybe even hide my crack in there, yes of course I am going to put center caps on they have not come to the states yet. But next week a batch will be in. Not sure if I am going with the polished caps or carbon fiber caps.
