I actually spoke to someone whom worked at HRE, (one of the machinist).. really nothing different from getting Iforged or any other forged rim he said. I actually accidentlly met him when he was messing with his RC car.
Save some money and get some VOLKS!!! bang for the buck compared to the HRe's...

I can only comment because I have been selling wheels for 10 years.
HRE are better built wheels. We sell Volk, Advan, Enkei, HRE, Iforged, nevermind you get the idea. HRE are the best we sell. They might not be right for every customer but they are the best. Volks are good though...second favorite.

yeah depending on what you are using the wheels for, volks are not very pothole and curb friendly in LA and SD CA....
