Ichiba V2 Wheel Spacers with Built in Studs DO fir the front

On here it seems like an urban legend has been created. Which is that you need to get v1 Stud Replacement Wheel Spacers for the front and that v2 with the built in studs do not work or fit...

That is incorrect... I just moved my 20mm Ichiba v2s that I had on my Rear to the front and they fit with no problem at all... This is with the OEM 19s.

I than replaced the rear spacers with 25mm Ichiba v2s and the outcome is perfect... Car sits flush in the front and the rear looks a bit meaner than before.

But the point of this thread is that, atleast with 20mm v2 Ichiba's in the front, the v2 with built in studs fits with no issues.

I just ordered spacers. How do you tighten the front spacer nuts when the wheel spin? Thanks

pics will be up tonight.. You have to have someone step on the brake while you tighten them. The spacer nuts are a 19mm though, not the same as our stock lugs...

Its a simple cheap upgrade that does a lot to the appearance...

Good to hear that it works with the 20mm version. I tried with the 15mm and those definitely do not fit the front. I documented my attempt here: Spacers on stock Z?

With the 20mm spacers, the stock studs stick out less owing to the thicker spacer, which in turn is why you can get the fronts mounted.

I didn't need someone to step on the brakes for me. All I did was tighten one lug nut back onto one of the studs. Then I took a torque wrench and put the socket end onto the lug nut while wedging the other end up against the inside of the wheel well. That prevented the wheel from spinning while I torqued down the other studs. (Of course, it helps to have multiple torque wrenches in your toolbox. If you only have one, then you might not be able to do it this way.)

man this was always a mod ive been jumping around but now... since it seems that you dont have to change the studs

sounds like a easy mod im willing to do will it be ok for me to run 25mm in the rear and 20mm in the front like you guys? i dont have the 19's i only have the base 18''s wheels...

Simota, the offsets are a little different on the base 18's. I recommend 25 front and 20 rear, v2. That's what I use on my base 18's with winter tires and they fit great.

I plan to do the same but afraid of adding vibration to the wheels.
Please write up some impression of driving with the new spacers too.

Simota, I should add that if you're lowered and have more negative camber than stock then you might go +5mm or so each on the spacers to keep it flush. Can't remember if you're lowered or not...

Can you mount the spare tire properly?? No clearance issues with the studs???

I'm pretty sure with 20mm spacers the spare will fit. I will test fit it when I change out my suspensions in a week.
