For a performance tire, the KDW is an excellent choice if you don't have snow, then go with KDWS. There are many tests showing the KD was one of the best dry handling street tires. Internally it was called Killer Dry, but in the field Key Dry. Can't go wrong with the Michelin, but you pay a little more, and honestly the BFG is better - they were designed by the same guys.

Being an ex-tire designer, I only use Michelin, BFG, Bridgestone, or Yokohama for anything street performance related.
