KEVTEX Base Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Montgomery, TX Posts: 119 Drives: 2010 370Z 7at sp pg Rep Power: 16	All the after market wheel locks I've seen have a smaller diameter shank than the stock lug nuts. This means only 4 of the wheel studs are being used to accelerate or brake instead of all 5. The locking lug nut with the smaller diameter shank is only working to keep the wheel attached to the hub, helping with cornering loads, but not starting or stopping.
