No. You need a mag style lug, not a cone seat.

All the after market wheel locks I've seen have a smaller diameter shank than the stock lug nuts. This means only 4 of the wheel studs are being used to accelerate or brake instead of all 5. The locking lug nut with the smaller diameter shank is only working to keep the wheel attached to the hub, helping with cornering loads, but not starting or stopping.

So bottom line, is there an aftermarket company that makes compatible locks for the 19" Rays?? (e.g. Volk, Rays, etc) Aside from McGard of course :roflpuke2::ughdance:

after much research, i have come to the conclusion that there isn't an aftermarket wheel lock besides the OEM/Mcgard type for use with the OEM 18's and RAYS 19's.

i wish my dealer didn't steal my lugs when they put these damn locks on...

i hate these locks as it's just a hassle for me more than anything. false sense of security too.

Garage>alarm>wheel locks

all around, i think alarm is a great option. Garage is the best for home, but your car isn't always home, so you're covered when its not. I kind of want to try these and see how they are, i'm curious. however these are only for aftermarket wheels.

KYO-EI - Dency 2000 Lock Nuts - Nengun Performance

this is my current set up with black tops wheel locks. Nice and tucked away in the front, the rears stick out about 3/8 inch, but only the free spinning silver part is exposed.

these fill up the entire lug hole and also spin freely making removal pretty difficult. they fit over the 17mm nismo lug nuts.

funny thing is, if they made a flat seat/washer type lug nut with a 19mm or 17mm hex head with a 12x1.25 pitch, these wheel locks would work with them. unfortunately there aren't any lug nuts like that.

jesus, jeff that's a serious lock. although i'm not surprised you have em, given your past history with wheels.

New owner - thanks for this thread!

Hi,
Joined this group primarily so I could post this thank you message.
Just bought my first Z, and it didn't come with wheel locks. Googled around and read this thread, thank goodness. First two places I tried, Les Schwab and Discount Tire, ordered the wrong locks - would have locked but no longer functioned as a lug nut - as described in this thread. A small local shop ultimately helped me find the correct locks and now have two sets on. Wouldn't have known to check for the issue if not for the info here. So, thanks very much for this forum, and your contributions to me getting to keep my wheels (:
Kristine
