Which wheels do you have? The 18" that come w/o the sport pkg? Or the 19" Rays that come w. the SP?

19" Rays

^^ Any chance you have the plastic pkg the locks came in? If so, can you provide the part number? I went to the parts counter last week and they said they didn't even show any locks for the 370Z, other than the ones that are supposed to fit all Nissans. But I took a lock off my wife's Murano and tried it with the Rays. I didn't fit right because it doesn't have that big washer/collar thing to seat correctly. (See the pics I posted earlier in the thread.) So I'm really curious to see what they put on your wheels. Any chance you could pull one off and take a pic?

I don't have the package, it was thrown away (at the dealer). All I can suggest is call the dealer 401-232-2800, and inquire with them. I actually don't have the car yet, as I pick it up Monday (awaiting the license plate).

Ok here we go.

People will say Mcard and Gorillla or the factory wheels locks. But I say hell no. Those are so common and can easily be broken into.

I say get your self a set of ray lugs or my personal favorite

^^ wowsers...those look awesome, does it come with 20 lugs for all lugs?

only 15 in the pics...lol

I really like how you gotta screw in the bolt heads and then use the main socket...to take them on or off............if i'm getting it right

speedworks 01-24-2009 07:15 PM

Look at the fittings, they all look like hex fittings? If so, those are way easier. Honestly, I am not worried about these wheels getting stolen - I got the wheel locks for free. If they do go (which I doubt because I don't park in areas that will allow that (garaged mostly), it would be a perfect excuse to go aftermarket (and have insurance pay for it).

nogoodname 01-24-2009 07:21 PM

^^ those are only there when you need to take them on or off, other wise...you can remove the hex's.....so theres nothing left

even with the hex's part out, i could still remove these lugs....but i won't say....lol

"Note: These are TAPERED lug nuts designed for use with aftermarket wheels. They are not to be used on OEM wheels. Please check which lug nut type your wheels use before installing."

with this lug design, like the part that touches the rim is like a cone....... it's no no for stock rims....i've seen a G37 19" rim shred off the rotor.......... such an ugly picture to see... need the flat lugs for stockers

speedworks 01-24-2009 07:31 PM

Yeah, but isn't the key a hex fitting as well? It looks like both the key and the other attachment have a hex look. I am pretty sure those are for show, and not for locking. The idea is you can change out the colors of the fitting.

nogoodname 01-24-2009 07:36 PM

^^ but the Hex's have threads, how could a hex fit in a circular threading to remove the wheel, it would take a lot of hammering...lol

speedworks 01-24-2009 07:40 PM

Look at the 'bigger' key, it has a hex and is show in the lugnut

nogoodname 01-24-2009 07:45 PM

^^ I see what you mean...lol.....it's a piece of dodo now....I take back the awesome comment...

Guys, I talked to my wheel and tire guy. Had him take a look at the lugs that come with the 19" Rays. He says that the part number we need (for McGards) is 21153. Here's a link, and you can click on the photo. It looks right to me.

The picture that you posted earlier looks to be a cone seat, this part number is for a shank style. Is he sure about that part #, I'm confused now
