Ride Stiffness: 18s vs 19s.
Hey guys,
I didn't write "ride quality" on the thread title because ride quality consists of many different factors. The ride can be stiff yet be high quality. What I'm concerned is the difference in stiffness from going with the 225 50 18 front, 245 45 18 rear oem setup to the oem 19 setup that incorporates a 35 profile tire. Is the 18s setup a noticeably softer ride than the 19s? I would assume yes but i wanted to ask you guys. Thanks. Tim |

The ride would be slightly softer, but you would notice it more on hard driving and extremely bumpy roads. Other than that it wouldnt make an crazy difference, but you would a little bit softer with the 50 and 45 rate sidewalls.
