18" wheels - what's available?
what choices do i have for 18" wheels? i'm going to keep my 19" for street, but really need 18's for track.
i'm looking for something light-weight, forged, and not too expensive. any suggestions? thanks. |
There's RE30's which are really light and TE37's which are also light.
They are not cheap though. |
I had 350z rear track ray's wheels widened, and might entertain selling them, but look at tire rack under winter wheels, they have tons of 18s and some in the 9 to 9.5" width range. My Rays are 9.5 and hold the 275s perfectly.

enkei pf01 or rpf01, you could 17' which is even lighter. haha
|
17's definitely won't fit on the Sport Package brakes. Some 18's don't even fit.

no, i think stock 18' will clear sport brakes and even bbk cus i remember some stillen reps use the stock wheels as cheap track wheels. i saw them post that reply somewhere on this forum.

SSR TYPE - F will clear the breaks, about 5 lbs. lighter than stock.
Just installed 19's on my sport....... not exactly cheap, though. |

anybody have the factory 18's they want to sell (either with or without tires)? ;)
i really am itching to get back into drifting, but am so hesitant to spend $300-$400 in tires just to smoke them up in one day. man, i miss my miata and 240..... |
i am selling my factory 18' with tires. tires have like 80% treads in them.
|
Stock 18's clear the sport brakes because that's the way the car ships to Australia and NZ. Many after market forged 18's also fit, my 18's also clear my AP Racing 6-piston calipers with almost 1/3" to spare.

Do OEM 350z rims fit over sports brakes? They are cheap on Craigslist.
