Do a 275/35/19 - 305/30/19

Optionzero recommended 265 in the front instead. What would be the benefit of going 275 over 265?

Picked up some TE37SLs on craigslist, powder coated black
19x9.5 +22 Front
19x10.5 +22 Rear -20mm Spacer, effective offset +2

285/35 Front
325/30 Rear
on the all new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s

Lowered on Swift Springs

With the spacer it has super aggressive poke but would rub on the outside of the fender quite horrifically so I had to take off the spacer and it is actually quiet flush considering it is +22, thought it would be much worse. Dont have pictures without the Spacers but will add if requested.

No rubbing without the spacers. ONLY if i have a passenger, get some slight rub occasionally on the front right for some reason, havent inspected the cause. (No fat chicks) :rofl2:

trying to get TE37Sls for my Black Z, do you guys think pressed graphite is better or black edition(or double pressed black)?

also debating between 18s and 19s, car will be tracked

I love the double pressed black on black Zs. But for my Red I'll be doing the Pressed graphite

Currently there are no 19" TE37SLs in stock. If you are guys are interested I have a group buy going on now for Hi-Meta Bronze TE37SLs 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +12 Spec. Its an option for ya and I think will look great on either color Z.

Aesthetically 19" look best on these cars. Also when going down to 18" TE37SLs you get a different look / face for the wheel. Both great choices, but 19" is the way to go man.

If you want to compare for the track none is better than 18". But for street and how the wheel "looks" on the car IMO and a lot of other peoples opinions 19" looks the best. These are wide bodied cars so when you put such a small wheel on it, kind of gives the car a "turtle shell" effect.

Both of these answers I agree with .... BUT also depends on what wheels you elect to go with.

TE's are within 1lb on all corners from 18 to 19's. The limiting factor here is tire choices and what you're using the car for. We use our Nismo for TimeAttack with classing we sit in restrict tire sizing at 285, which to MAX that out, we would need 18's due to the limited sizing in 19's in most tires.

LOOKS WISE.... 19's for sure is the way to go. Performance wise, either work perfect, truly depends again on your tire needs

For those who have TE37 SL (19's). what specific accessories did you need for the center caps adapters?

Would these be it?
  1. Volk Racing Center Cap Ring for TE37SL - 2.5mm / 3.0mm O-Ring
  2. Rays A-Flat Center Cap - O-Ring Type
I'm trying to get a list of what I would need for my Te37 SL 19's PG.

Picture for attention :)

Neek,

call Tom at Speed Image USA

https://www.yelp.com/biz/speed-image...peed+image+usa

They move more TE37's of all variety than anyone in norcal. Most of CA.

I'm sure he can help you figure it out and get you the parts too. He's also in your neck of the woods.

Following up on my search for center caps and for those who are looking in the future

https://i.imgur.com/0WlNVpl.jpg

...lol $390 for a set to match the Te37SLs.

OptionZero 09-10-2018 04:45 PM

I am not surprised. The japanese companies are difficult to get spare parts for because:
1) They don't stock ANYTHING
2) They hate selling individual parts. They want to sell stuff in a complete set, the way THEY intended it to be bought.
3) Their definition of "special color" is . . anything but the one or two colors we need is "standard"

Your only other alternative is to pray and get lucky on Yahoo Japan, i guess

Also - i forgot, the SLs aren't "supposed" to have center caps, which is why the adapters were created. Same for the TE37 Ultra Track Editions

EDIT:
Crap! i just checked Evasive and the adapters alone are $60 EACH?!

Yup! The SL Center Cap Adapters are $256 MSRP alone and then you have to buy center caps. As you could probably assume, we dont sell those all the time. Its only if you just HAVE to have center caps on your SLs.

OptionZero 09-10-2018 05:51 PM

I mean, don't get me wrong - they do improve the look, i can't stand the center-cap-less look

thankfully, my Ultras came with center caps that matched and that model doesn't need an adapter

EDIT:
It does look odd with the different colored hub surface

Neek 09-10-2018 06:13 PM

I just want to find a way to either hide or eliminate the rust that builds up where the center cap should be on the wheel. I've seen some people spray paint that area so maybe i'll go down that route too. But center caps would have been nice :icon17:

yingiee 11-26-2018 12:17 PM

Can anyone rocking 10.5 TE and 305 rear take some close up pictures of the wheel? Deciding between 305 or 295.
