Default New Wheel: Z1 motorsports ZM23

Z1 has released a teaser for what appears to be a new wheel from them: the ZM23

https://www.instagram.com/p/CaDMp09M...9-22a31eee9ceb

No further info

I would assume as a Nissan specialist, it'll be 5x114.3 with fitments for S/Z chassis and GTR

Something like:

S-chassis, Z33, and Skyline GTR
18x9.5 +22 and +15
18x10.5 +22 and +12

GTR
20x10 +30
20x12 +20

Hope we don't get left in the dust
At least provide 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12, standard fitment that JDM wheels do

I'll update when they give a size chart

Also, since they did a special run of Nismo Clubsport wheels which were basically Gram Lights 57CR's in special tooling, I would guess these are made by Rays as well. I don't see any 7 spoke wheels in the catalog that they could just rebrand though

Interested to see what it looks like. Can someone post an image on here? I can't view any of those links or find it on the interwebs.

Eh. Looks pretty lame to me. Didn't even know Z1 made wheels or if this is their first one.

Default New Wheel: Z1 motorsports ZM23

Hopefully this will be a more reasonably priced lightweight wheel that targets the track folks, in which case I’m interested in seeing more about it. I’m thinking that because it doesn’t look like they spent much time in the ‘looks’ department. Doesn’t look like anything special to me in that regard, although I can appreciate a simple design that isn’t overly-styled.

Will mostly come down to weight and price.
Right now, my standard is 18-19 lbs at 18x10.5 +22 at around $2000 with Titan-7s, but more options are always nice. I do like 6 spokes more than 7 though!

I doubt much of their stuff is “made” in house; it’s mostly contracted out and their logo slapped on it.

They did do the Nismo Clubsport wheels which were Gram Lights 57CR’s with special machining, logo, and color options.

They’re not building a factory to make wheels, someone is making them and z1 gets to put their name on it. Maybe it’s also Rays in their cast wheel lineup, which is in the 1200-2000/set range; the other big wheel company would be Enkei.

BBS is probably too high end
titan7 is a newer company that works with Evasive Motorsports. They make an exclusive wheel for their sub brand EVStuning which focuses on track parts.

I can’t imagine they’d shoot for the forged wheel price range of $1200-2000 per wheel

I bet it’ll be in the Gram Lights / Enkei RR range of price and weight

6 spoke wheels are boring

Just got Z1's ad email for these. The gunmetallic version is actually growing on me.

This is the first time I’m seeing the pricing on these. ~$1400 for a full set is way cheaper than I expected! 22lbs isn’t too bad for an 18x10.5 either.

Edit: ah so they’re on sale for initial release with free shipping included.

Looks like you can get a more aggresive than standard setup in 19x9.5 +15 and 19x10.5 +5

Camber required
