Default Aftermarket lug nuts

What are some good quality lug nuts for our Z's? I'm using spacers with 50mm studs so I'm looking for the longer ones preferably with closed ends. I was running NRG and after 2 years, my front driver lug nuts stripped the threads right out. Couldn't put them back on. They costed me $85. Cheap aluminum ****** !!!

Stick with genuine Nissan Nismo lug nuts:

Is this for OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels?

These two versions are for aftermarket wheels.

I was asking the OP. He did not state what wheels these lug nuts would be used for.

Project Kics, Muteki, Rays and Gorrila seem to have a good reputation.

Muteki SR35 Neo-Chrome Closed End. 6 years, no problems. I would say that they are considered mid-range.

I used these:
Project Kicks R40 Ironic

they are "two-piece" in that the part that contacts the wheel mounting surface is can rotated freely with the hex-shaped body which you rotate to tighten. It saves some scratching when mounting wheels.

Multiple color options available.

The finish has held up multiple uses over several years.

Z1 calls them "impact gun friendly" although I suspect hand tighten/untighten will be infinitely safer.

I bought a GR5 titanium set from a Chinese seller. I have had them on and off many times over the last 6 months or so and they haven't stripped. Looks great too. In that time I did strip an OEM lug

Is steel better than aluminum? At first I thought it was the wheel studs but after checking them, they are not bent. I think my lug nuts got stripped from using an impact gun many times. Should have told the mechanics. The GR5 titanium ones look nice but those project kics look beautiful, especially in black chrome. But they are 44m not 50m.

I would treat aluminum lug nuts as a "consumable" item.
