Continental Sport Contact 6 vs Michelin ps 4s
Hi all,
Before posting this thread, I was searching for Continental Sport Contact 6 and I couldn't find any, especially when it comes to comparing it with Michelin ps 4s. I couldn't decide yet which tireto go for, and I would need your feedback or recommendations. Size: 275 35 19 (square setup). For weekend and track use. Some websites (review websites) said the Sport Contact 6 is better than ps4s. I would appreciate getting your experiences. Thanks, NASM Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Neither of those are particularly good track tires. They are ok for one or two laps but that's it. You're better off getting Bridgestone RE71R, Yokohama Advan A052, Nitto NT01, Nankang AR1. There are many tires you can choose from that are better than those.

The Mich will get greasy after about 15 to 25 minutes. Depending on track and your experience.

I never got to track on the continentals but I may make it next month. Before that I did a few on the Bridgestone S-04 and they weren’t bad. I too was looking at the conti vs Michelin and one thing I was informed about the Michelin is they were having de lamination issues on the ps4 on track when the ps3 never had those issues. Maybe that’s been resolved because that was when they first came out but just something I was told by a tire seller than handles a lot of track users.

And please let me know your feedback when you go for track. In addition, I found this, it might be useful: https://alltyretests.com/continental...goo%20handling. Thanks, Nasm Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

I have used many tires on my Z over the years. I am on my second set of Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R’s I can vouch they have the best overall wet and dry traction I have seen. I have always enjoyed running the Yokohama’s on my Z!

255/35/19 front 305/30/19 rear. Selecting the correct tires for your set up will make all the difference.

Many thanks Rusty, you are awesome. Highly appreciated. However, my question is, can I use the 370 sport wheels with new tier sizes, or do I need to get new wheels? thanks, nasm |
