Tires that will hold 800whp?
What tires are my best bet for not spinning with this kind of power. Should I get street tires and run low boost (500whp) then put on some sticky drag radials and run 800whp when im going to half mile events or can i daily on drag radials.

This McLaren got into the 8's with r888r's.

You need to have 325/30/19's on a 11.5 in. rim to even have a chance of them hooking. I see you are in Ontario. Temps will lesson your traction, the farther below 80 deg F. the worse it will get. I would assume you park your car for the winter. If so, you can run R888r's. Expect to get about 7k miles out of them max. If you want to hook on the 1/2 mile you will be switching to MT Street R's on a 17x10.5 wheel.

You are going to need to upgrade the diff also. The factory VLSD will kill you.

It’ll be a while before your build is done, so this is hypothetical at this point.
Too many factors to consider. Skills, experience, asphalt temp, rubber temp, shocks and springs, alignment, LSD, gear ratio, management/tuning of the torque.... 800 whp on this car will spin any tire you put on it to be honest. It’s up to the driver to tame it. |

The last 1/2 mile event I did was the hardest thing I have ever tried to do in a car. |
