How long do stock 18” Yokohama tires last?
The ones that come on the 2018+ base models with the beautiful black stock 18” rims :yum:

Advans. Driving style comes into play obviously. I like to slide around the odd corner. My hwy onramp is fun. Did one HPDE event last year. I bought the car with 16k km, now at 27k. I'll be replacing the rears next year likely.

I got about 6 months out of my rear tires when I daily drove the Z. Michelin's seem to last a bit longer than everything else. About 8-10K miles on average. Replaced the front tires once for every 2 sets of rears :driving:
Of course, I know people who get routinely 20K+ miles on a set of rear tires. So the answer to your questions is, it depends on you. |
I got 26k out of them and they were solidly on the wear bars.

Lol I was hoping they only lasted like 10,000km so I could justify some Pilot Sport 4s soon

In the right hands - one day.

Tire tread life depends on how you will use it. My car tires usually last for 5 years but I immediately replace it once it is worn out.

Depends on how you use your Z and how drive your Z? Everyone will get different tread life out of their tires despite what the tread rating may be. On the 18” Yokohama Advan Sport tires I was able to get 33K miles out of them. The rears were completely worn out and the fronts had about 3-4 mm thread depth left. Personally I always liked the Yokohama’s they have good dry and wet traction. They stick to the ground very well in warm weather from what I found. I believe Nissan picked excellent tires for the 370Z model in stock form the Yokohama’s I had said made in Japan on the sidewall of the tire. For my street set up I ended up installing Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 R’s could not be happier excellent tires for the coin spend I would get the Yokohama’s again on the Z!
