NEW! Nismo LMGT4 19-inch ver.

New release, apparently limited production:

Nismo LMGT4
Made by Rays Engineering
Forged, one-piece
They are normally available only in 17 and 18 inch, most recently in "Omori Factory Spec". I think one year they were matte black and another they were gloss black.

Nismo previously produced this wheel through Rays in 17 and 18 inch sizes with VERY LIMITED AND CRAPPY sizes in 19, some of which were not available through Nismo USA.

The new version has an engraved NISMO logo, some lip, and concave face. The only 19's had no lip, only slight concave face, and no engraved logo, instead using a sticker. The best size might have been 19x9.5 +30, which is garbage.

The choice to only issue two sizes is pretty interesting. They will work for most Z owners that don't want to run super aggressive sizes. A simple 9.5/10.5 stagger at +12 offset will poke a little bit in front. 265/35 and 305/30 would be ideal. 285/30 and 325/25 might require camber adjustment - definitely in front.

While these wheels are spectacular looking, and i would LOVE a set if I had a 350Z, Z32, or GTR (non-R35), they don't go aggressive enough personally, but i am apparently a nutjob.

At $800/wheel these are not cheap but they are high end, limited NISMO goodies, so if you're looking for wheels and you're cool with the sizes . . . they'll look hot. Forged, one-piece Nismo hotness.

NOTE: I am not a vendor or a even a retailer. Get these from your local Rays Engineering distributor. In North America, thats Mackin Industries.

Top retailers by USA Region last i checked:
New York - RAV SPEC
Florida - KamiSpeed
California - Speed Image USA
Arizona - Vivid Racing

Is anyone looking?

Everyone gone?

Seriously, is anyone from Rays or Nismo reading?

(Don't tell Rays that i said this but you could also get a set of special edition Nismo 57 Clubsport (variant of mass release Gram Lights 57CR) that look very, very similar with an engraved logo, in the same color and more sizes from Z1 Motorsports for around half the price . . . made by Rays in the same factory, but cast instead of forged)

Weak Sauce....... I will pass.

OptionZero 12-12-2019 03:56 PM

honestly, its not meant for you or me except as collectors item

Quicksilvers 12-13-2019 04:24 AM

If you really like these wheels get them while you can before they get discounted also. Definitely a true Z enthusiast collectors wheel for sure. Seeing Rays I am sure they are not cheap.

Beautiful wheels  And sooooo much better with the lip and engraved logo. Too bad the sizing options still blow chunks :shakes head:

I'm pretty sure you mean discontinued. They will most certainly never be discounted.

I miss when they came in colors besides black. Still heat though.

It’s common for Rays to discontinue these wheels. Most will just purchase these wheels but if you shop around during Black Friday or the Christmas season it is possible to find these wheels on sale at one point just depends on the vendor you choice to give your business to? I seen these wheels before they look decent and are definitely a collectors wheel.

A true collectors set. If anyone is looking for a set, we're still taking pre-orders for summmer 2020 delivery.

OptionZero 12-26-2019 03:38 PM

I wanna build a Z32 or R34 just to have a car to put these on

tonythetiger 01-09-2020 07:33 PM

Man should I invest in these or keep my ZE40?

OptionZero 01-09-2020 10:10 PM

These will probably hold their value better as they are gonna be more limited

the ZE40 is a mass produced wheel. A very good wheel, strong, light, classic design. But anyone can buy it. There's like crates of them stocked in warehouses.

These? Probably not so
