Thumbs up

They actually look very nice. I have seen these for sale before but I can’t remember where though.

Glad to see they look nice when they work well as an accent piece, as in the OP's case

Most of the ones I see look out of place and tacky.

Does anyone have experience with Rim Ringz? These are more rigid and snap on with tabs between the wheel and tire rather than the glued strips.

I have them on my wife's Soul. I did not like the ides of gluing these to the rims more or less permanently. I also did not like having a break in the ring.

I like them. But i did crack one during the install. Luckily my wife curbed and broke it later anyway, so I got a replacement. The rim was saved by the ring.

I see they sell pry tools to install them...any real difficulty putting them on?

The tools were included with the full set of four. I never used them, just taped the rings in gently with a hammer and a block of wood.

Interesting... I like this. Couple of questions.

Which product is better? I like the solid one with the tabs, unless the tabs show like someone commented on.

Am I right to ASSume that the other product can be pressed in, or do you need the glue?

Can you see where you have to seam it? IOW is there a “clamp” that hold’s it circular?

But most importantly, would you go with yellow to match the car, or red to match the calipers? Also, red or yellow lug covers?

Tabs can be seen slightly if you are standing right above the wheel. I can take a picture if you like.

As I said above, "I did not like the ides of gluing these to the rims more or less permanently." So I chose the one with the tabs.

There is another product out there that requires the tire to be taken off, rings installed and then remounted by a professional shop. IT looks better, but seemed like to much trouble and money for a sacrificial product.

I would get green ones, so that way you have the mustard/ketchup/relish combo. Kidding.

IMO, I'd say yellow, so that the red calipers can give that accent to the car.
