Anyone try the G-MAX RS

Couldn't find any info on these using the search tool. I was considering these for a DD but wanted to know if anyone had experience with these tires. Or maybe

Never heard of these tires. I suggest that you stay with a good proven branded tire, since your tires are the only thing between you and the road. Just saying!

According to tirerack tests they were comparable to the Firestone indy 500 but with less dry performance and significantly more wet. better comfort/noise also. Went with the indy 500 in the end, thanks.

General Tire is owned by Continental. Obviously a lower budget brand, but I can't see quality degrading too much compared to them.

The Mazdaspeed guys really liked General tires when I had mine. Useful since 300+hp in fwd killed tires, so lower cost tires were popular. Great for daily driving.

For anyone reading this and thinking about buying General tires, Nissan sells them as original equipment on the new Titan, and I've ran multiple sets over the years problem free. Just my two cents.
