Just ordered RE-11 for my NISMO

RE-11s on the way from tire rack. There isn't a 245 size so I had to up-size to 255 front. However, I'm considering running the Advans up front for a while because they still have quite a bit of life left in them. So the plan is run the advans for everything they are worth and then swap in the re-11. Once they show up all that might go out the window though.

I have the 265/35/19 for the fronts on mine.....I'm sure you'll like 'em! What did you get for the rear? 305/30/19?

Best choice ever huh?!
That set-up is amazing... Once spring time comes I'll be running something similar! But for the winter, the stock rims and tires will do! :driving:

vipor 01-08-2010 10:55 AM

nice, that's the stock size of my wheels so i know i can add another 20mm to my tires when i replace them

Yeah, darn winter! The RE-11's are off mine right now....back to stock until late March/early April for me.

CrownR426 01-08-2010 11:32 AM

I say late feb/early march for sure!
We gotta have a huge east coast meet for sure during the summer!

I actually went with the stock 285 rear. I wanted to compare apples to apples (or as close as i could get) first time around and then pick the superior tire for a 305 next time.

awesome! congrats on the tires, but I would definitely run the same tire compound all around!

Post pics and a review!

Tony, pictures of your car always make me happy :)

How is the life holding up on the RE-11s for you?

JoeyD 01-15-2010 07:45 AM

So far the RE-11s outshine the Advans in every way. I have more cold weather grip by a mile. Stiff sidewall, quiet(er) ride, confident grip. Depending on how they wear this may be my new favorite tire.
