Powder Coat my Sport Rims?
2 Attachment(s)
I am not a big fan of the polished aluminum parts on the sport rims that came with my 2020 Z.
I like the blacked out look! They look quite nice up close. But from a distance they look cheap! :( Not sure what the cost of stripping and powder coating would be. I figure, if it is $200 or less per tire, it may be worth it. Pretty impossible to find nice rims for $200 each! I blacked out the sport rims in MS Paint just for fun. I think it just might look pretty good!:D What do you guys think? |
Do it! Black powder coated rims look sweet!

I am not a fan of those rims period. Spend that money on new rims.

I went bronze on mine. Looks great.

Wasn't there just a thread about not being able to powder coat sport wheels due to the material they're made of?

Not the same wheels as OP is asking about.. |
:inoutroflpuke:Waste of money. Buy new wheels. The color is the last thing wrong with the 2.5 gen wheels.

Powder coating wheels can look very nice just depends what wheels we are talking about here and what color? Sell your Sport wheels if you can I was never a fan of the design of those wheels but to each their own. Purchase some new wheels for your Z if you can swing it!
