advan gt sizing question
Hey Guys,
I want to order advan gt's in racing white specs f 18 x 10 et 35 r 18 x 12 et 27 tires are toyo R888R f 275/35/18 r 305/35/18 I am lowered on KW V3's and I will lower accordingly so I am not really worried about fender clearance on the outside. My main concern is inside clearance ie coil overs and what not So we called Mackin Ind and he said they wouldn't recommend going so aggressive because those would be sizes for a wide body? Its basically only pushing out the wheels 10 mm on the outside, so that is why i'm concerned about inside clearance thanks in advance! Last edited by justin_boy; 11-14-2018 at 01:24 PM. |

cancel your order, **** those sizes
Advan GT's are nearly $1k per wheel. You're gonna spend $4k on wheels . . . and get WEAK SAUCE FITMENT? Why not light your money on fire? Thats like buying really, super nice suit, but in a size too small so you look like a goof You want: 20x10.5 +24 w/ 285/30/20 20x12 +20 w/ 325/25/20

What is your main purpose OP? Is it track or street, r888r are very noisy for a street tires, if track, I think better to go 18x10 +22 front and 18x11 +15 rear with negative camber with your tire sizes to get similar look tires fitment, my car looks goofy with one perfect fitted tire, and one stretched.

For street or show car, 19/20 will look nicer.

Exactly
Get coilovers and arms and do the damn thing right $4k on wheels and cheaping out in suspension ? Makes nonsense to me Do you buy thousand dollar suits and wear sandals to work? This is a prime example of why you gotta plan out your mods ahead of time. Also, V3's don't even go that low. I think the lowest setting will still leave a 2 finger gap, so if you're worried about being "too low" . . . nah 20's and no rubbing, room to go lower, room to go higher and still look fine Its ludicrous to think 19's are too big for the Z. They have MASSIVE wheel wells, and hell, the STOCK NISMO comes with 19's

If you have all the adjustable arms there is even LESS REASON TO 18s

Honestly I’ve had both and like the look of 18’s much more when they’re super concave, whatever tickles my pickle doesn’t have to tickle yours. The te’s look sweet by the way. I was stuck between these two.

Look at this post if you have -2.5 camber all around, it will be tucked, unless you are after this look [Official] 370z wheel fitment guide (pics/specs) only
