370z tire fitment

I have a base 370z with the 18" wheels. I contacted tirerack seeing if I could fit 265 or 275 on the rear wheels but they're saying they haven't approved

I contacted tirerack seeing if I could fit 265 or 275 on the rear wheels but they're saying they haven't approved any wider tire for fitment on the stock wheels yet. Has anyone done this yet?
