Luckily when that happened to me, the guy at my local Discount Tire sold me the warranty after the fact and just back dated the paperwork as needed. As a result he saved me a few hundred dollars and gained a long term customer. Since then I've always bought the warranty even though I haven't had an issue since.

Damn lol. This is the one i was waiting for. I'm most likely gonna get it then. It wouldn't surprise me if something like that happened to me.
