Found out Tires not wide enough for my rim today need new tires now

https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tiretec...jsp?techid=199 The rim width range is what you need, if the manager is stupid enough to stick to the tech's story.

The "measured width" is the width of the wheel that they put the tire on to do all the measurements. They generally pick something in the middle of the range, like with this tire.

Ok I went to a local tire shop that was recommended to me and I had them check out both front tires one had a couple small nails the other was apparently leaking from the bead but anyway it was fixed and resealed no problem apparently and I put both wheels back on the car and the tire pressure light hasn't gone off yet so that's a good sign. The tech said I shouldn't have anymore problems. I can't believe I was about to buy two brand new tires because the first shop couldn't put the tire back on since the tires were too skinny for the rim *ridiculous. I am pumped it all worked out
