Just wanted to update here -- after going to Discount Tire they didn't have any more of the older super sports in my sizing -- so I went with the new Conti Extreme Contact Sports.
Amazingly my old Conti DWs were put on the car with 8.8k miles, and last until 34.7k. I was pretty impressed with that for performance tires. Rears were gone, but the fronts still had plenty of life left in them. That being said these new Conti Extreme Contact Sports so far feel like a HUGE step up from the DWs to me. Particularly in cornering ability & feedback -- much less mushy. So far I only have a couple hundred miles on them, but will report back once I have some more time with them. |
