Default Cracked Wheels?

After replacing a Rohana RC10 due to a wheel crack that was causing air to leak, I decided to check over all of my other wheels. I discovered that I have another tire leaking slowly (3psi per week) and I suspect another cracked wheel. Before I order anything can I get a second opinion on these pictures?

Unhappy

1st pic looks like incomplete weld around the corner. The 2nd pic is a crack. Need to dye check it.

I believe that you may be able to have those repaired at a good shop. Ask around and see. It's still cheaper than buying new ones.

Well I took them to a reputable shop near me and they didn't think it was worth trying to repair. If Rusty is right about the 1st picture it looks like 2 other wheels have incomplete welds also. I don't trust these wheels anymore... time for something else.

The thing is that I can't remember hitting anything hard. Weird because I'm also pretty good about checking my tires pressures so I don't think that was a contributing factor either. Im really beginning to think there's something defective in the manufacturing of these.

The rims can be fixed. But I don't know if it would be worth it. You would have to remove the finish. Dye check the whole rim for cracks. Weld prep the cracks, and deflects. Weld, then grind smooth. Redye check the repairs. Then refinish the rim. Depending on the type of aluminium. It still may crack later on.

Not familiar with Rohana nor do I shop for anything on eBay. In that case, why do you not contact the manufacturer/distributor? Inexpensive or not, there should be some recourse for the customers.

Rohana is cheap replica garbage ... dump those wheels and get some real ones. OEM Sport wheels are very high quality wheels - probably 90% of the wheels that people replace them with are a downgrade

I went with a used pair of sport rays. Lesson learned... but at least I got them at a good price and they came with tires that are good for making smoke.
