Hub ring won't sit flush on hub

1 Attachment(s)
I have this issue. I bought a set of hub rings for my aftermarket wheels (66.1- 75) but they don't sit flush with the hub since they have a little lip that makes them protrude a tiny bit. Are there any rings of the size I need that come without this lip, or will I be ok if I don't use hub rings as long as I tighten the lugs to the proper torque and in a star pattern?

By the way, the reason why the ring is not sitting flush on the aftermarket wheel is because it's center bore is not tapered. What other options do I have?

I would like to know the answer as well.

Ran into the exact same issue this morning with some new PF01s

They are optional. They help prevent problems when people don't take their time tightening down the lug nuts in a proper sequence, and proper torque. In some applications they can prevent the wheel from touching the calipers and such as you slide the wheel on. However you don't need them.

Take your time, hold the wheel centered best you can, and tighten the wheel down in stages, don't just jump straight to 80 ft-lbs, it won't be a problem.

Lots of other posts on this too if you search on this if you rdon't want to take just my word on it, take this one for example

Yeah I went ahead without them and didn't have issues at high speed. I'm not gonna put them anymore
