Spacers for 18" stock rear
 

Welp, my daily driver decided to crack some tie rods (as in two) and this has blown my 370Z new wheel budget until after the summer. To tide me over until then, or longer, I'd like some offset in the rear. It just seems too tucked in from the factory.

What spacers would look good with my 18" stock (2014) wheels?

That depends on your suspension modifications, if any.

none. save your money. get better wheels.

Bone stock suspension.

Measure the space between the front of the tire and where you want the tire to be. That would be your spacer size.

That could not make more sense. Now I'm off to the garage feeling a bit daft. :wtf2:

It's a simple measure but for reference I had 15 and 20mm on mine.

unless u wanna look like a flimsy tesla's rear (or recent bimmer regular sedans), with those skinny factory wheels and tires i would go no wider dan 10mm on the rear. but u probably have to get the stud replacement type. ive never seen da factory 18's whether dey have voids or not between the lug bores.

I can only speak wth certainly to the 2016's but they do have voids between the lugs so can run DRM spacers. I would assume others to be like that but you'd want to check.

And do make note of the comments on larger tires. Same time I put spacers on I went to 245/275 on the stock wheels.

I also have 275's on the back and moved my 245's up front with 20mm spacers up front,5mm on the back..I think some folks give the stock 18's a little too much of a hard wrap.When people compliment me on my car almost ALWAYS the first thing they say is the wheels look great on the car.Mostly because of the color I assume,but I'm not in a big hurry to spend $3000 on a tire/wheel upgrade.

To the OP,here is my car with stock tires 225/245 and 20mm spacers up front and on the back.Suspension is also stock.

20mm all the way around looks great! And 20mm should keep the spacing between the wheel voids and the original studs a-ok.

My '15 has silver wheels that I think look good on the black car.
