Exclamation Low tire pressure = Safe Mode

The other day the low pressure warning light came on. Colder weather here causes some slight lowering of tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and started to drive to the gas station to fill it up. The car had the Slipping warning light come on and the car went into Safe Mode. Nothing above 2,000RPM. Got the car to mechanic at dealer. Bottom line, the low tire pressure caused the right rear tire to rotate at a different rate than the left rear tire. Therefore Safe Mode. Tire had a nail in it. Tire plugged. Car now runs fine. Codes showed up as Slipping. All very strange.

Default Safe mode

The low pressure light came on Sunday night. I didn't have time to get any air so I waited until Monday morning. Checked the pressures and saw the right rear was at 28 so I figured I could go to my medical appointment and the get air. 1/2 hour drive to appointment and 1/2 hour drive back. Got home, checked some stuff and then went to get air. SAFE MODE. I think the car was saying that there had been a Low Pressure light on for over an hour of driving and i needed air NOW. Little dictator ECU.
