Here's one of the fronts with some Project Kics R40 Iconix (2pc) lug nuts w/ optional red caps:
It's hard to fully capture the concavity of face-4. Let me play around and get better pictures to illustrate it. I went face-4 so i can get maximum concavity front and rear, there's no point in te37's in you aren't getting them as concave as possible. Tires are Toyo T1R, on order. 275/30/20 front and 315/25/20 rear. Before the tires go on i'm taking the wheels to a body shop to get the machined ring filled in with red if possible. They want to look at it in person. It'll probably be to hard to paint the letters on the ring. The machined "Volk Racing" logo is etched so finely its definitely impossible to pant. The ring should be doable, masking is just gonna be a bitch. |

congrats on finally getting everything in!
I know that feeling...12 week wait for my exhaust and 20 week wait for my works...all part of quality parts. |

Finally, PROGRESS! I'm on my second body shop and visited with a pinstriper and custom wrap place, all very good shops, but none of them have been able to do what I want . . . UNTIL NOW!
best pic I have for now: 3 of 4 wheels done, hope to have them by the end of the week and on the car after New Years! man, its taken FOREVER incredible work when you realize that all of the machined areas (strip on the edge, and the logo on the spoke) are fairly deeply engraved, and are textured surfaces. The logo especially with the stupid "3d etching" is many, many fine layers but it looks like the shop was able to get the paint to stick and not bleed much, if at all i can't wait to see these person and pick them up Last edited by OptionZero; 12-28-2016 at 11:23 PM. |

I could swear by those pics that they are 18"s. If they are 20s though, it must be all the side wall and current ride height.
edit: saw the tires you're running...wtf! That camera angle is making them look crazy small. You have minimal side wall Last edited by Zerafian; 12-29-2016 at 04:25 PM. |

I'm assuming you're referring to Jerry's car. He has 19's. Don't know his tire specs.
As for why they look small, i've found that darker colors in general make wheels look smaller than lighter colors. |
