From an Australian review of the 370Z:

Big Akebono brakes are standard on Australian Zs (optional overseas) and they clearly have the mechanical muscle needed to haul up the 1471kg coupe. Never heard of Akebono? The Japanese brake manufacturer also supplies its stopping hardware to the Williams F1 team, not to mention Japan’s famous Shinkansen bullet trains.

I am fairly certain Work Wheels knows the Z better than whatever dumbass retailers you're talking to.

The picture you posted shows the same calipers everyone else has, and now this article says the same thing.

Your retailer has probably never worked on a 370Z in his life. Punch him in the face.

If he won't order the wheels for you, contact Ravspec, they are a large US East coast retailer

EDIT: Forgot to add, if it wasn't unclear . . .Akebono brakes are sport brakes. The same sport brakes as . . . every other 370Z. Nissan is cheap. The Z is not a ferrari. They are not going to make special brakes for Australia, they will reuse parts whenever they can!
cooltoy and Halfkiddio like this.
