Default After some deep dish wheels now

Hey guys, I was looking at some Work Meister S13P deep dish wheels but my local dealer here in AU said that it won't fit my 370Z as it won't clear the brake caliper.

Wondering what alternative wheels I can get that look like the Meister S13P in deep dish and black disk, with polished black lip and gold rivets?

Plenty of Z's run them. Are you sure they are giving you the right offsets?

WORK Meister S13P – 19″ – 370Z/G35/G37 – RavSpec

WORK Meister S1 3 Piece ! - New Spec - No Spacer needed - Custom Color !!!!!

It's not the "deep dish"-ness thats preventing fitment in front, its the face design.

Download the size chart from work:
Work Wheels :: Products :: Meister S1 3P

There are three different face or "disk" options, L-Disk, R-Disk, and O-Disk

Your dealer should contact Work to see which disk will clear 370Z brakes. Its a popular enough car across Japan and US that they should know. Or just see if it'll clear GTR brakes - if they clear those they should clear anything

Bear in mind that if you want truly "deep dish" the next step is to figure out how aggressive you want to be

for example You could have brake clearance and a fat 5 inch lip if you really wanted, but you'd probably need fender work, camber, stretch, etc.

You sound pretty new to this so i'd recommend digging through the wheel fitment threads and finding a spec you like and then comparing it to available Work wheel sizes to see how much lip you gonna get in that spec

EDIT:
the Ravspec sets linked above seem like exactly what you want

Ok I thought this was possible for the 370Z so not sure why the dealer said it wasn't?? Yeah the link cooltoy posted looks like exactly what I want. If I am to chose the 11" rear width, what lip size do I chose to be the widest without needing fender or camber adjustment?

EDIT:

Well I just showed the dealer here those links and this is his response:

"us spec and aussie spec i think is different.

i am happy to order for you but it will be at your own risk.

i asked work japan before many times about this and i havent sold one yet in australia. revspec posted the thread in 2013. i have asked a few times between 2013 and 2016 and the answer is no. it cannot be fitted.

even 2016 matching data from work still says it doesnt fit. i am not going to ask again because it's just going to look silly because i have asked them a couple of times before.

ravspec uses T disk and it says it clear the brake without using any spacer. the problem with our brake is not the thickness. its the height. it doesnt matter which center disk you use as the width of the center disk is the same. what change is only the brake clearance area.

in order word, it doesnt matter which center disk you use. A, O, R or T. all are of the same height and it hit the inner barrel side of the wheel."

So it seems aussie spec is different??

He did say the CR 2P will fit though.

Take a picture of your brakes and compare them with the brakes of another Z wearing the wheels you're interested in. I'd be willing to bet they're the same.

Is he getting confused and thinking that 18's wont fit?

Because . . . you should be getting 19's anyways.

and while others can confirm, i cannot imagine that Aussie spec Z's have BIGGER brakes then US cars, which have used those wheels. In fact, i'd bet on it. Given the small size of the AUS market i cannot imagine Nissan would go with different brakes just for it. certainly not bigger, maybe smaller (base).

your dealer sounds . . . n00b.

I mean, people have ACTUALLY run these wheels on their cars before, so it sounds like your dealer doesn't know what the **** he's talking about.

and while i'm add it, why the hell are you scared about fender and camber adjustments? if you want deep dish, do the work! (pun intended?) Its so sad to see people posting how they want stuff from their wheel fit ment (dish, concave, blah blah) but are too scared to roll a fender. I mean, ****, you can't even see it from the outside and it has zero affect on the rest of your car

No I told the dealer 19s and even gave him the link to the ravspec 370Z spec 19" Meister S13P, and like I posted before he said aparantly it won't fit the Aussie 370Z because of the brake height on our Z's. And Australia only has the sports models here, there is no base model or nismo model here.

OP, your dealer is a moron and probably lying to you about contacting Work regarding the wheels. Don't even let them buy the wheels for you - they'll probably screw up your order or some $hit
