Loud tire noise
I have a 2014 Z with sport package and stock wheels. I had a 2004 Roadster and it had 17" wheels i had a set of Continental DW's on the car and I got 25,000 Miles and the tires were very quiet. With the 2014 I have the 19" tires and they are so loud. I changed them at 7,000 and now have 7000 More miles and I find them really loud. What can I do? Can I go back to 17" wheeles and tires??
Any help would be appreciated, Nick |

Stock tires are loud. Z has little noise insulation. Just about every other tire made is quieter.

As others had responded to your other thread, no you cannot go to 17in wheels, won't clear your front brake calipers. And, from a recent thread, I see you've already replaced OEM 19's Bridgestone tires with DW's. Your remaining options are a combination of below:
The 17's on 350z is something like 225/50/17 and 235/50/17. The 370z 19's are 245/40/19, 275/35/19. The 370's tires are wider with shorter sidewalls, aka more contact patch to generate more noise, and less insulation. They are not comparable. You may be out of luck without spending some money

I'm running 19" Conti DWSs (dry, wet, snow). Very quiet.
