Default Need some advice on the AG F542

Most of you guys know, aesthetics are kinda last on my list of upgrades for my car.Anyways, I fell upon this opportunity and for the first time in the history of ever, I'm buying an aesthetic piece.... F@ck, I already lied. I bought those Carbon Signal vented fenders... Wife didn't like them... Anyways So I'm in the process of ordering custom F542 wheels and wanted to get some opinions. There were 0 pictures to go off of outside of other wheels based off the same design. Please let me know if my offsets are wrong, or if anything looks off.. Thanks. So I'll break down what I have so far...

Based on Swift Springs drop, flush with the body running a full size tire, no stretch or extra thin tires. 265/35/19 or 275/35/19 and 305/30/19s are what I'm looking at.

Avant Garde F542's: F542 - Avant Garde Wheels - AG Form - Concave 3PC

Fronts: 19x10 ET +30
Rears: 19x11 ET +13

The barrel is stepped with a smoke mirror finish, same with the rear barrel
The center is concave and either technica titanium or black brushed nickel.
The center cap is smoke mirror finish
The hardware is magma red, matching the car.

I'm looking for opinions on the hardware and which finish to have the center (spokes) done in...

Below are examples of the finishes.

Technica Titanium:

Black Brushed Nickel:

Smoke mirror stepped lip with colored hardware and technica titanium center:

Below is a wheel similar to what I'm ordering. Use the spoke design for reference:
F242 - Avant Garde Wheels - AG Form - Reverse Lip 3PC

I opted for the technica titanium as its lighter and will stand out better against the smoke mirror finish on the barrel.

The hardware will be painted last so I can see what different colors look like on the wheel before I pull the trigger.

How do your fronts fit with the +25? I based the measurements on Nismo wheels running 15mm spacers on Swifts. So they should sit the exact same in theory.

I'm just trying to make sure I'm good.

I ordered the wheels yesterday. They should be in next week. I can take pics of them for you and post here.

Evasive Motorsport is where I got them. I called them and they advised against the +12 fitment in the rear. I was torn between +12 and +22, but they cautioned me to go +22 since the car will see some HPDE days at the track.

That's why I am interested in your rear fitment.

Did you call Avant and get their 2 cents? Evasive was pretty helpful on the phone. I wouldn't order without confirming with the wheel manufacturer, but they are always going to be on the safe side.

Mine are +16mm from the Stock Nismo setup all around.

Yours are only 1mm difference from stock Nismos in the rear. You have PLENTY of room. You can run like a +8 on a 10.5 width wheel in the rear. Your front tires are spot on. I would call and double check if I were you.

Yes, I was working with an AG rep for a few days. He confirmed what I calculated. He said I can run a full 305/30/19 tire and not rub. Likewise the fronts with a 275/35/19 tire. I should be able to turn and have full suspension compression without rubbing.

A 10mm spacer might be in my future in the rear for sure. But from where I am at now with S-tune rims it should be a lot better. S-tunes are +47, +30 on 9inch and 10 inch I think.

Yours is gonna be flushtown from what I can see from the fitment thread. Can't wait for pics!

O and yeh, I did double check and they talked me out of +12's again on the rear. Maybe I should have been stronger..... I was weak my friend. Stay strong

Already shipped so I am locked in.

She does. She's a bit unsure with the design and the Z, but she likes that the design and color are unique

Update. 3 piece wheels are heavy. If you want light weight wheels, stay mono block. Yes these barrels are spun and the face is forged, but the hardware, the coating, the sealant, it all adds weight. Fronts and rears weigh 30lbs. So these fat bastards weigh roughly 36lbs more than a stock set.

To help, I can run a lighter tire and recover maybe 10lbs. I also picked up Volks lugs which is another couple lbs (stock lugs weigh 3.3lbs). And finally to reclaim the last 25 lbs, running Z1 2 piece rotors front and rear can help. Granted it will only improve how well the oems will feel when I swap them on, but these are just ideas to offset these rolling anchors. Compared to a lot of oem wheels though, 30lbs is par, but we have gotten spoil with forged wheels. It doesn't seem that the width difference had an impact on weight.

So... tires two questions.. extreme performance or max performance tire? I'm debating on picking up the new Continental EctremeContact Sport as they are supposed to be better than the PSS and a good competitor to the new PS4. I'm kinda leaning to a max performance tire on these so I can use my OEM wheels as a track tire and put extreme tires on those. The next question is sizing options

265/35/19 - 305/30/19 (25lbs / 27lbs)

Square 285 or (27lbs ea)

275/35/19 - 325/30/19 (may have to use a 285 front depending on front availability) (27lbs / 31lbs)

Obviously the wider, the heavier, so it might magnify heftiness. Continental weigh about the same as the PSS and P4S, a 1lb difference + or - depending on size. Extreme tires weigh about a pound more on average (except RE-11's, they weigh 30 and 35lbs for the same sizes)

Stock tire weight =116lbs
Continental ECS= 105lbs for a 265/305 set up and
108lbs for the square 285
116lbs 275 /325 set up.
Stock wheel and tire weight: 200lbs
Continental ECS tire weight: 225lbs 265/305
228lbs square 285
236lbs for the 275/325

With the lugs and the 265/305 set up, it's roughly 6lbs more per wheel over stock.
So yeah, adding Z1 rotors would put me below or at the same weight as the stock wheels and tires combo. Now I'm rambling, maybe someone might find it useful.
