Been there done that. It looks ridiculous. Especially if you're not slammed. And fender gap makes it look even more retarded.

I don't have much fender gap. Plus, my wheels are semi aggressive offset with a slight poke.

A quick search will tell you that stretched tires are not very popular on this site. Most people on here are more concerned with handling/performance (that's why they bought a Z). Stretching the tires defeats a lot of that.

No offense but this community and forum is performance oriented. This is why we got a 370z and not a ricerocket.

Sorry typo, stupid auto correct. I wanted to say Any fender gaps when you have stretched tires, even a quarter inch, looks extremely dumb. The proper stance, if you can call it proper, is zero fender gaps, broken cambers and minimal tires between your fenders and wheels. Just my opinion anyway. If you're going for the look, go all the way. Get wider wheels, at least some type of coil overs, remove the bottom locking rings and Slam that bish. Otherwise don't bother, just get some beefy tires and call it a day

225/50 & 245/45/18 (tire brand unknown) on 9 & 10.5" wheels
pending on tire mfg. -1.0"section & -2.0"tread mounted (-0.5"sec. -1.0"tread per side)
for front.
rear's are -2.0"section & -2.5"tread mounted (-1.0"sec. -1.25"tread per side)
Rim lips will stick out further than tire sidewall.
better fit (still a tad stretched/but better) 245/45 Front & 275/40 rear......*remember* the overall wheel lip is 1" wider than the bead (or advertised wheel width)
9=10" & 10.5=11.5",,,,this is very close on all wheels.

"Better," of course. The OP is interested in that non-functional "stanced" look with tires stretched beyond usefulness and probably ridiculous camber that gives a 2" contact patch per tire.

Why do you buy a z to do that. Man this whole stretch thing is like a plague, please stop ruining perfectly good handling sports cars.

I don't like it either; factory 225/50's & 245/45's came on 8 & 9" wheels,,,They even looked stretched....I got 245/45 & 275/40/18's on my base wheels; I'd rather have a slight bulge.
