they seem to be of good quality according to the guys, we are going to sample a set or two and then see how it goes from there. they do have have JWL VIA stamps, and the company backing them is awesome so far in terms of service. statements like the above quoted statement are ignorant in terms of money. Even used, id be hard pressed to spend 2500 on tires and wheels. it is well within my means, but if i was making double what im making now, i still wouldnt spend that much. saying high quality replicas are not worthy and should be avoided is like saying Levi jeans should be avoided because True Religion or Diesel jeans cost more even though they do the same job. For those DDing and not hardcore tracking or xcrossing, who cares? is that extra money worth getting a few extra guys wet in their pants at a car meet? just my thoughts |

*Sigh*..I expect to see people excited about those on the 350 forums..but not here...
Dont worry...once you curb it, a rock hits them, hit a pothole, or something hard in the road you will relize why you should have gone with the REAL thing lol I guess unless you baught your 370 and making less then 30k a year..barely able to make the payments then I can understand, I was there the first 2 years I had my 350. I should also mention this, you can get a set of TE's in near perfect condition if you go over to the 350z forums for cheap. People always sell used sets for around $2500 with tires around 60% tread. people use the axis wheels, tsw ect, those are all around 1k for a set too. soon as wheels look like they cost more than they do, people get bent out of shape. for my car, i dont beat on it. the wheels are for looks, and to use instead of spacers since i dont like them. these fits my needs. i make close to 100k a year, but still do not see the point of spending that kind of cash of wheels for a 35k car. rather save my 2500 for a part of the s/c.

![]() Let me know how the quality is, it may be an option outside of powdercoating my F14's in Bronze.

if your in the 90 percentile when that happens and you bought cheaper wheels, you'll be thankful you didnt blow 4k on wheels. if you did blow 4k on wheels and you curb it.... your gonna be pissed at yourself. I would. |

I guess you have more experience with aftermarket rims then me *shrugs*. I upgraded(or possibly downgraded) through the 3 different type of OEM rims for the Z before I got my first set of aftermarkets. I Daily drive me car right at 100 miles a day so Iv already experienced the little things.
I just know from friends and experiences of replicas on the forums the issues that could occur. And for the record...I wasnt always a Volk nut hugger...before I became a member of the Z forums my opinion on rims wasnt tainted, I liked any rim as long as the color suited me...any rim |

I have wheels on my show ae86 that cost more than real te37's, but i'm not going to daily them here in downtown la where the roads are getting worse and worse by the day. The Z, I do drive daily and I don't want to bend a $3300 set of wheels on a pothole or 4" tall asphalt bump.
