Nitto tires/ Drag radials

Hey guys, I tried getting a clear answer on other threads but couldn't seem to find a good one. I'd like to buy radials for my 2014 370Z touring with the Rays 19's.(275/ 35/19) I was looking into the nitto nt05R....I know the nt05 max performance street tires fit perfectly, but id like the drag radials, however the nt05R that comes close to my size is 305/ 35/ 19....would that fit on the rim without any issues or adjustments? Thanks.

One thing you gotta thing of is if you have a 275 with little spin and upgrade to a wider much stickier tire there is a chance you will actually hurt your speed and bog down. I ran a srt-6 for fun, 11.9 was my best run, it was on a 255 Mickey Thompson, much skinnier then my 295 super sport tire but it hooked up much better.. More tire can hurt as much as less tire

Yes, but if you have a good amount of power and tq, it can help as its more contact patch. Yes, you are right that it can hurt.
