Ok I forgot I could get also some custom colours, so I am going to get these babies in Diamond Black.

I only have one more issue, I am trying to understand the difference in the look of the wheel (lip width and concavity of the spoke) between 10.5 +12 and 11 +15. I ask this because going from 10.5 +22 to +12, the difference is a gain the in the lip size. I'm wondering if choosing the 11 +15, is a gain in concavity of the spokes and not the lip?

Thanks in advance!

This is pretty late, but to answer your question:

Both 10.5 +22 and 11 +15 are Face-4, so the concavity should be the same

The difference between 10.5 +22 and +12 is the center of the wheel. the size chart shows that +22 is the "S" center and the +12 is the "L" center.

"S" center is more shallow than the "L" center. The difference is about 7mm, from what i've read (lurking on the GTR forums where everyone has ultras in 20 inch)

Summary:
All Face-4 wheels are theoretically the same concavity of spokes
L-center is 7mm deeper than S-center, so your lug nuts will poke out by a bit more
Refer to size chart on Rays website for which size/offset has which Face and which Center

Most wheels this will affect brake clearance, but IIRC Te37's basically clear everything, at least at the sizes we're talking about

I will be getting ultras, just throwing ideas around on what sizes in my head and scouring every thread i can find for examples

someone tell me whether staggered, F 19x10.5 +12 and R 20x11 +0 would look odd. Nismo 350z runs 18/19 stagger. Corvettes run 19/20 stagger. Face-4 and L-Center all around, slightly cheaper and slightly easier fitment than 20x11 +15 in front.

Correct. I remember going through multiple threads in the 350Z forum before purchasing TE37s, and you're right, the concavity on the 19x10.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12 are exactly the same.

Note, Before the ultras, the regular and SL versions of the te37 only had face-1 and face-2. Lower offsets were distinguished with more lip, instead of move concave spokes

FYI, a 10.5 +12 is going to be super aggressive in the front. To get a 285 to clear on them requires quite a bit of camber.

255 or 265/35/19 and 2.5 - 3 deg camber seems like it'll be fine

Some dude here with mag blue te37s ran that in front

Thanks for the reply OptionZero. I got the distributor i am dealing with in Japan to call Rays and they were not able to tell me if these wheels with different offset in the same width were distinguished by different sized lips.

With no other choice, I did some calculations myself, pretty much drew out the wheels and made some assumptions about the concavity, etc. And i dont think the TE37 Ultras have the same issue as the TE37SL. I ended up order 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12. Have you ordered yours?

One retailer told me these wheels are just now coming out in Japan and are 3-4 months away from US release.

If you want to be safe, wait for them to get out to folks and for photos to surface.

Cautionary tale: When the 20 inch version came out, a bunch of GTR folks ordered front 20x10 +30 or 35 (forget which), Face-2 and rear 20x12 +20. On smaller TE37 sizes, Face-2 has very concave spokes (for example 17x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +18). When the 20x10 actually hit the shores, people got their wheels and saw they were flat faced and complained. Apparently there weren't a ton of pix of each size and face. Retailers couldn't do anything about it because the wheels were ordered.

Later on Rays released more sizes, including 20x10 +25 (Face 3!) with a moderate amount on concave, and 20x11 in +30 (face 4, better clearance for GTR front). Early adopters got kinda screwed. Now, its not that big a deal because alot of these GTR owners are VERY conservative and refuse to deviate from factory suspension settings, so they just all run the exact same set up (20x10 +35 and 20x12 x20). Its just like how virtually every 370Z owner runs 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12. Standard sizing is easy because the fitment is tried and true and people dont want to spend money on a bunch of suspension arms, fender work, and alignment.

For your specific question - i am pretty sure 19x10.5 +12 and 19x11 +15 will have virtually identical face design, but since its $$$ wait and make sure. I suspect it will be hard for any retailer to let you return a purchase you are unsatisfied with given the pricing on this.

So after a long wait, the rear pair of wheels finally arrived. Actually they arrived 1 month earlier than expected. They look amazing and cant wait to get them onto the car. Waiting for the front pair and tyres to arrive and they will be fitted by the end of this week.

Here are some pics. Optionzero, have you received your wheels yet?

Awesome! Face-4 is the only way to go for ultras, concave is win

Mine are expected in October (ordered May, five month wait). Diamond black is cool, but I want with optional Matte Black which is special order

20x11, +15 front and 20x12, +20 rear.

Gonna have my bodyshop paint the engraved ring red. Hate that damn thing.
