Well, it's hard for me to compare, since they're the only snows I've had on the Z. I use Dunlop SP Wintersport 3D tires on my Audi S4, and they are better in deep snow, but not as good on ice. But that car is AWD, so it's hard to know how much of the traction advantage is driveline vs. tire.

I've had one hard winter and one easy winter with the Blizzaks. In the hard winter, I drove a lot on snow-packed roads and found it pretty easy to break the rear end loose. But I had pretty good traction, and I always knew what was going on due to good steering feel and feedback from the tires.

They are still very wide tires, which is not a great advantage in heavy snow. Foolishly, I did take the Z on one snowboarding trip, and got stuck in the parking lot at the slope. But a few guys pushed me out and the rest of the trip was not bad, despite getting over 10" of snow over the weekend. So I'd rate them a B+

Thanks for your feedback! since the Z is the only Car I have, I'll just have to take it slow. one last question is there any other tire that is better Blizzarks LM-60 since the WS70 does not fit on the Z? Big Thanks!

In talking to the Tire Rack guys, they are very high on the Blizzaks for deep snow. My best-ever snow tires were Hakkapelita's, but I doubt there's a fitment for the Z, plus they were horrible on dry pavement. But when I lived in the snow belt in upstate NY, we'd get snow every week and they were excellent in deep snow. Gislaved's were good deep-snow tires too. Something about snow tires made in Nordic countries, I don't think anyone cares as much about getting deep snow performance right! I don't believe Tire Rack sells either of these, so they don't have comparisons.

If I were buying another set, I'd get the Blizzaks again.

Hope this helps.

I am just about to purchase a setup from Tire Rack similar to AK370's, only with LM60's instead of LM25's. I was just wondering if the 225/50R18 will fit propertly on the TRMotorsport C2 18 X 8.5 wheels since the recommended rim width range is 6"-8"?

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and have a simple question. I just recently picked up a 2013 370z with sport and nav packages. I was wondering if anyone has installed the TR motorsport C2's on the 2013-15 models. I know they where slightly refreshed from 2012. I'm assuming nothing has actually changed from the earlier version other than cosmetics, but do the 18" TR motorsport C2 rims still fit over the sport breaks for 2013-2015? If so then i know what I'm going to do to get through the winter months. I don't car if the tires are recessed so spacers wont be required. Been driving rear wheel drive for 8 years in northern ny, so its nothing new to me. Thanks to anyone who can help with this question.
