powdercoating 14 sport wheels black chrome?
 

Opinions? for those who need a color example here it is

I think it would look good. What's that going to run you? For the price you might be able to get an aftermarket set in black chrome. I believe Zedd makes a pretty nice black chrome wheel and keep the stock for back ups and or able to sell them down the road easier in stock color.

I blacked out mine with duplicolor's black chrome / clear coat spray paint and it's held up amazingly well with the key being prep work to clean all the wax & coatings off. Has the added bonus of being amazingly cheap and no loss of car while wheels are off and ease of repair after unavoidable future curb rash...

you won't get that finish with powdercoating (the corvette wheel). Close but nowhere near as reflective.
