Do NOT get the BFGs. They were very okay. I was in the same boat between the S04 and DW and will be putting the DW's on this weekend.

+1 for S-04
I like the Bridgestone*Potenza S-04 Pole Position, on my second set. They work well for daily driving ( great in rain ) and i have used them for autocross. BFGoodrich*g-Force COMP-2 A/S are ultra summer tires, a lower level in terms of performance compared to the other two tires I referenced this test when buying tires. The PSS (1st) and Advans (3rd) that place near it are much more expensive. S-04 was considered second place http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...omparison-test

866.86 vs 1122.00 for PSS ( Price After Mail-In Rebate: $1,052.00 ). OP doesn't wanna drop a grand. Also I think thats a Dale Earnhardt quote

Truth. I also hear that the benefits of PSS over S04s are minimal. I just want something DD worthy. Not concerned about tracking for now. When I go to get these new tires installed...do I need to get new TPMSs as well? |

No, the TPMS stay with the rim. The tire is what changes.

I had B-Stone P S04. They look great on the car. I love the extra meat sticking out protecting the rim (I have never gotten close to scratching them but it's nice to know it;s there). They are a steal of a deal $$ for performance wise. Although they are great, I have to move on to something more sticky as I have more power now. I rec. S04 to anyone.

Thought so as well, but couldn't find a definitive answer. Is this something that needs to be swapped after X amount of miles though?

Tire shops may tell you that you should replace them when you replace tires, but that is general rule for moms in minivans who usually replace tires every 35-50k miles. |

Mounted the DW's Saturday - 265/35 and 285/35
Have about 300 miles on them so far and love them. Very quiet and more comfortable than the GForce's I just had. No hard cornering yet but great braking and WOT feel, even at lower temps where the GForce's would set off ABS and VDC.
