My wheels don't fit around it, the socket on the wheel just barely makes contact. I have a 2015 Nismo btw. Curious how guys with spacers and aftermarket wheels got around this. Can i just remove it? Thanks ![]() |

The bolt is to keep you from putting the front oem wheels on the rear or vice versa, remove it.
Edit: What kind of wheels are you putting on? and what is that gold/brown stuff on your hub? |

Yup, just remove it. I think it's to help at the factory to make sure they put the rear wheels actually on the rears, but I could be wrong... Been a while since I've looked at them, since I took them off when I put spacers on and never looked back.

They are indexing pins. See FSM.

Copy and paste from manual
Front and rear wheel size for this model differs, t herefore special pin (1) is adopted to the front brake disc rotor (2). And a hole (3) that matches to this pin is adopted to the front wheel (4) (the rear wheel does not have this wheel). This structure prevents the rear wheel from being mistakenly installed on the front |

You can remove it. You'll be fine without it.

Bolts off and the wheels are on. My offsets are pretty weak on them, i pretty much used them to judge what I want to get next.
Im thinking a 20x9.5+25 front and 20x12+30 rear Vossen VFS1 in gloss graphite. It would be the first Nismo on this setup |
